Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Picasso – Available for Adoption
Picasso’s foster calls him “the love of my life.”
Picasso is a charming, social, and chill older gentleman looking to live the rest of his days enjoying life's luxuries--belly rubs, napping on cozy beds, and eating a truly remarkable amount of wet food. Picasso is an abstract painting of an old man… all the elements are there (mild kidney disease, typical muscle weakness, mild dental disease which he already received a dental for), but his youthful exuberance makes it hard to recognize the full picture at first glance.
Once neglected and abandoned, this precious soul deserves the happiest “happily ever after” ever. After being rescued, it was discovered that someone cut his back toe off and his hips were broken in four places at one point. He has since healed. He's still a little weak in his back legs, but he's now jumping a little bit but only on low things. Picasso is FIV+, but with regular vet care and an indoor only lifestyle that diagnosis shouldn't impact the length or quality of his life.
He loves, loves, loves people and he's extremely chill. He gets along very well with other cats and loves all humans, and we strongly suspect he'd be happy to coexist with chill cat savvy dogs too. Picasso loves to eat!!! He's put on 4lbs since coming in and he's seriously the best cat.
Picasso is approximately 12 years old, neutered, up-to-date on all his shots, negative for FeLV, yet positive for FIV. If you are interested in meeting him, contact Boston's Forgotten Felines on Facebook or at catadoptions@bostonsforgottenfelines.org
What is FIV? No big deal:
