Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tulip, a beautiful, medium-haired all black feline with a sleek, shiny coat, tiny tufts of white at the base of her neck and round, yellow eyes. This girl is highly-social and the type of kitty who'll follow you from room to room. She'll run to greet her family at the door but can be on the shy side when strangers stop by.
This girl is everything you'd want in a young, playful cat. She is curious, and FUN... definitely will need an equal opponent during wrestle time and gets the daily zoomies.
Her favorite toys are furry mice, plastic springs and the feather wand. Actually, she'll go bonkers over any kind of wand toy with a ribbon. One of her absolute FAVORITE past times is watching the birds and squirrels out the window.
Tulip will do best in a home where she's got another companion when you're not home. You'll find her full rescue journey chronicled in Photo Album #33 on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including video and photo updates on all our cats and kittens). Be sure to check out her adoption video and fall in L-O-V-E!!
Tulip's adoption will include her:
* Spay surgery,
* De-worming,
* Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution),
* FVRCP vaccinations,
* Rabies vaccination (if old enough),
* Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative),
* and Microchipping!
~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~
* Please only contact us if you'll be making Tulip a permanent member of your household and will be keeping her safe indoors.
** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair!
*** You can also find all our adoptables on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including their rescue story, photos and video updates).
Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!
