Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ollie – The Compact Rottie With a Big Heart and Even Bigger Personality
If you’ve been waiting for a dog who can make you laugh, keep you moving, and then melt into you like a heated blanket… you just found him. Meet Ollie, a now almost-grown (but still adorably compact) Rottweiler mix with all the charm, smarts, and zest for life you could ever want.
Ollie has grown up beautifully in foster care and continues to be pure joy wrapped in fur. He’s playful, goofy, social, and deeply loyal to his people — the kind of dog who will trot proudly behind you like he’s your personal bodyguard, then curl up in your arms like an oversized baby when it’s time to relax.
Ollie lives with a 3-year-old Rottie foster brother and a 15-year-old senior foster sister, plus two cats. Over time, he’s gotten much better at respecting boundaries. He still plays hard and loves even harder, but he’s learning to pump the brakes when the older or smaller animals say, “Kid, chill.” He’s respectful, eager to please, and adjusts quickly with guidance.
Ollie can be described as:
an Olympic-level jumper — he still pops straight up in the air like a popcorn kernel.
Toy enthusiast — throws his toys for himself, chases them, repeat.
Water lover — hoses, sprinklers, kiddie pools… absolutely.
Play hard, cuddle harder — he is an elite-level snuggler.
People person — he believes strangers are just friends he hasn’t won over yet.
Ollie is crate trained, house trained, and very smart. He’s made great strides with impulse control and reading social cues. He thrives with structure and is the perfect match for someone who enjoys a dog with puppy spirit but appreciates the solid foundation he already has.
Ollie has a good amount of energy and joy to burn, so a secure, fenced-in yard is a must. He’s at his happiest when he can run freely, bounce around like a spring, and play to his heart’s content.
Ollie needs an active, fun, patient human or family who wants a loyal sidekick with a huge heart. Someone who appreciates play, enjoys training, and loves a good cuddle pile at the end of the day.
If you’re looking for a well-rounded, affectionate, hilarious pup who brings sunshine everywhere he goes, Ollie is your guy.
If you'd like to be considered to meet him, just submit our application on our website. There are also additional photos and videos there! PA Dog License #18512 Souderton, PA
