Samson has survived more than any dog should ever have to. When he arrived at BSAS with his sister Delilah, both were abandoned, scared, and broken. Delilah has since been rescued… but Samson is still here, watching and waiting for his turn to finally be loved.
Samson came to us emaciated, heartworm positive, and crawling with fleas and ticks. The list of what he endured goes on. But Samson didn’t give up. He fought through every part of his treatment and is now heartworm free, healthy, and ready for a family who understands the journey he has survived.
He has been at the shelter 5/28/2025, and we can see it in his eyes. He is starting to wonder if anyone will ever choose him. And he deserves a good life just as much as his sister did.
Samson is the definition of a gentle soul. He does incredibly well with our elderly playgroup and is affectionate, soft, and unbelievably loving. Despite everything, Samson still offers his heart to people without hesitation.
His adoption fee is only 25 dollars, but the love he will give is priceless.
Please consider opening your home to this survivor with a heart of gold. Samson has fought hard to get here. Now he just needs someone to fight for him. Interested in Adopting Samson?
