Lola is a Pit bull terrier. She is a sweet and loving character who will soak up as much love as you can give her! Because of this, we'd recommend that she lives as the only dog in the household. She can be quite energetic when it comes to toys. From what we can see, she is not a fan of cats and would do better with older kids. Could you find it in your heart to give this sweet girl the home she deserves?

More about this shelter

We are a no-kill, non-profit pet placement and adoption center located in Ontario, California.

We were established in 1954 as the Humane Society of Chaffey Community and it served as the local animal control for the surrounding areas. Roughly 40 years later, we adopted a no-kill policy as West End Shelter for Animals.

Sociable homeless cats and dogs are surrendered by owners who can no longer keep them for various reasons and they remain with us indefinitely until we find them a new home. The shelter can provide temporary homes for up to 200+ cats and dogs. In addition to working with pet owners, we rescue a number of cats and dogs from county shelters where they await euthanasia due to pet overpopulation.
