Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blue is a work in progress. She is not super friendly with humans but she gets along well with other cats. She'd do best in a home with no children as she likes to use her paws to play. Blue is a big fan of canned food and crinkle toys! We'd love for Blue to get her forever home because she deserves patience, love, and kindness.

More about this shelter

We are a no-kill, non-profit pet placement and adoption center located in Ontario, California.

We were established in 1954 as the Humane Society of Chaffey Community and it served as the local animal control for the surrounding areas. Roughly 40 years later, we adopted a no-kill policy as West End Shelter for Animals.

Sociable homeless cats and dogs are surrendered by owners who can no longer keep them for various reasons and they remain with us indefinitely until we find them a new home. The shelter can provide temporary homes for up to 200+ cats and dogs. In addition to working with pet owners, we rescue a number of cats and dogs from county shelters where they await euthanasia due to pet overpopulation.
