My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Honey is a gorgeous buff orange and white color. She is one of those unique orange females you hear about but rarely see! She likes playing with any toy she finds and loves playing footsies and running around with her siblings. She was very shy at first in her Foster home, but lately her sweet personality has been coming through more and more. She doesn't mind being held (as long as you hold her the way she prefers). Her curiosity gets the better of her, so she will pop up beside you to see what you what you are doing. She loves playing wand toy and red dot with you and especially loves being in her tunnel with peep holes. Honey will need a patient family to give her time to adjust to her new home. Because of her shyness, a home with older children would be best; but her Foster Mom is willing to meet any small children to see if their energy would be a good match for Honey. She would also benefit from a self-assured fuzzy buddy (kitten or cat) that can help her gain confidence in new situations. Because Honey can be insistently and aggressively playful, if her new home has feline pets, they will need to be another kitten or young (or very active older) cat. Otherwise Honey can be a bit much for older cats. She may do well with a very mellow dog who will not chase her.

All kittens reside in foster homes and are not kept at the actual shelter. They have been spay/neutered, microchipped, wormed, FeLV tested, and have had at least their first distemper vaccine depending on age. The adopter is responsible for all remaining vaccines.

Contact kittens@lvpeaceablekingdom.info or call 610-432-2532 ext 4 for more info about Honey and the adoption process. Potential adopters will need to complete an application and provide proof of vet care/vaccinations and spay/neuter for other animals living in the home. If you rent please also provide a copy of your rental agreement showing pet allowance. Please bring your own carrier.
