My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB 07/2024

Maui is a very sweet girl that likes to be on your lap. One of her favorite things to do is play with the water coming out of the faucet. When she wants to get away from it all, she will go to the top of her cat tree. Printers absolutely fascinate her and I've seen her stand on the controls and accidentally print a page! What a wonderful office assistant she would be.

Playing with her sisters Cloe and Zoey is her favorite thing. It's so entertaining to see Maui, Cloe and Zoey interact. They truly love each other.

Cloe and Maui are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

PLEASE READ:

Adoption fee $100 for adult ( over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). Adoption fee. All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for Fiv/FELV, microchipped, have received age appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first served. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home.

Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet.

Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats, while also making your life easier.

In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes, we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit.
