Aloha Kakou, my name is Marty! I came to Maui Humane Society back in February 2025 when I was just a tiny kitten in desperate need of help. I was scared of everything and really sick, but thanks to some amazing foster homes who gave me love and patience, I got healthy and strong! I’ve been here for over nine months now, and even though everyone takes great care of me, I really don’t want to grow up in the shelter. I’m still a little shy sometimes, but once I feel safe, my playful and curious side shines through. I love chasing my little fuzzball toys and spending time with other cats—they help me feel brave! I dream of finding a patient and loving ‘ohana who will give me the time I need to blossom.

Requirements for Adoption
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• In possession of a valid photo ID
• Allowed to have a pet where you live
• Must accurately complete our Adoption Questionnaire
• All dogs, cats and rabbits adopted from Maui Humane Society are spayed or neutered.
• Able to follow all county laws related to the animal.
• Able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide the training, medical treatment and proper care for the animal
