S’mores is an extremely shy kitty who needs a calm environment and a patient person willing to go at her pace. She’s not the type to seek attention right away—but with time, space, and gentle care, she begins to show her quiet, curious side.
She would do best with a cat-savvy adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her set the tone. If you believe in building a bond slowly and letting love unfold on its own terms, S’mores might be the one you’ve been waiting for.

We ask an adoption fee of $175 Which includes a general health exam, spay /neuter surgery, and microchip ID implant, Felv/FIV testing, age-appropriate vaccinations including rabies.

More about this rescue

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
