Last fall, we adopted Luna from a family friend whose son's allergies were not under control with a kitten in the house. It has been over six months and we absolutely cannot get our three-year old dog to accept Luna. While she was raised from a pup with our other family cats and gets along with them, our dog literally chases Luna down as prey and wants to eat her. All integration attempts have failed horribly, and it simply is not safe.
Luna (16 months) is a loving, smart little girl, full of energy and literally plays find and fetch with hair ties. 100% inside cat only. Completely healthy and litter box trained, Luna ideally needs to be with a family with other cats, and maybe calm dogs, she really loves all aged people. Right now, Luna stays in our master bedroom behind closed doors, and runs around late at night with supervision while our dog sleeps. She deserves so much more!
Our family will NOT bring her to a shelter. She has a home with us until we find her forever home.
