My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lyla is a 2-year-old female mixed breed who’s been at the shelter since May 2025, and she’s ready to bring endless smiles and sunshine into her forever home!

This big goofball is all about fun, love, and soaking up the simple joys in life. You’ll often find her lying in the sun with her tongue out, living her best life and reminding everyone to slow down and enjoy the moment.

Lyla is sweet, loving, and full of personality — the kind of dog who makes every day brighter with her happy energy and gentle heart. She adores attention, belly rubs, and sharing her goofy grin with anyone who crosses her path.

If you’re looking for a pup who’s equal parts joyful and affectionate, Lyla is your girl! Come meet her and see why everyone at the shelter can’t stop smiling when she’s around.

At this time, if you have any dogs at home, they must come to the facility for a meet and greet. All dog adoption fees include the animal being micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, monthly heart worm and flea prevention, and any required medical care while with us.
