Cupcake is as sweet as her name, with a spunky spirit and a heart full of love just waiting to share. Though she is mostly blind (seeing figures in bright light, but limited), she doesn’t let that slow her down one bit. True to her Shih Tzu nature, she is a big dog in a little body, full of bravery and a strong desire to explore her world. Cupcake does well with calm, respectful dogs and is happy to meet visiting children, though a home without full-time kids would be the best fit for her. A securely fenced yard is a must to help her safely satisfy her adventurous side. With her fearless attitude and endless affection, Cupcake is ready to find a family who will cheer her on every step of the way.

Cupcake is a female ShihTzu who was was born approximately 4-17-21 and weighs 13 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested heartworm negative and started on heartworm prevention. She was seen by a veterinary ophthalmologist where it was determined that she has a premature cataract on the left but is not a candidate for surgical repair due to the structure of her eye. She previously had her right eye removed due to an injury. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
