My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chamomile – Calm? Not Quite. Cute? ABSOLUTELY. 😄🌼
They named her Chamomile... but let’s be real — this 5-month-old lab mix is less soothing tea and more wiggly party in a fur coat! 🎉🐶
Here’s what she’s serving:
🐾 Fun-sized goofball energy (warning: side effects may include uncontrollable smiling)
🐶 BFF to all dogs — she’s the social butterfly of the bark park
👧 Kid-approved and ready for endless belly rubs and backyard shenanigans
😜 Friendly as heck — will greet you like you’ve been besties since birth
Chamomile is playful, lovable, and always down to zoom across the room for absolutely no reason. 💨✨
She’s not here to help you sleep — she’s here to wake up your heart with pure puppy joy! 💛
Adopt her today and prepare for a daily dose of happy chaos. 🌼🐾💕

More about this shelter

Friends of DeKalb County-AL Animal Adoption Center is a 501c3, non profit, all volunteer, foster based rescue and not the shelter staff.

Our mission is to improve visibility and increase awareness of the countless number of abandoned, homeless animals located in the DeKalb County-AL Animal Shelter, with the ultimate goal being to unite these deserving animals with the perfect family to call their own.

Whether it be by finding adopters for homeless animals, reuniting lost pets with their owners or increasing community awareness about important issues, our volunteers are dedicated to being a voice for the animals in our area that are in need.

However, we can not do this alone. There are numerous ways that you can help in this effort, including volunteering, educating, donating, fostering a pet until it is adopted and sharing pictures of animals that are posted on our page.

The list of ways to help is endless and can be tailored to meet whatever your needs may be.

For those of you interested in making a monetary donation, please send your donation via Paypal to friendsofdcaac@gmail.com.

Any donations are greatly appreciated and can truly save lives.
