Meet Nadya – A Mama with a Heart of Gold

Nadya is a beautiful adult tortie with a calm, sweet soul and a story that speaks volumes. She came into our care with seven kittens of her own — and still had enough love to take in an orphaned baby, too. Her nurturing spirit and gentle nature truly shine through.

Now that her mama duties are done, Nadya is ready to enjoy the spotlight herself. She has a very cuddly, affectionate disposition and loves nothing more than curling up for cozy snuggles with her humans.

We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $160 to $185. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
