Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Seasoned Husky lovers will swoon over Zuko’s good looks. He is one of the most beautiful dogs we've had in some time. He has the full, thick and lush Husky double coat, and his coloring is black, white and gray. He has big blue eyes that seem to twinkle with impending impish mischief.
Zuko arrived at our Connecticut Rescue after he spent some time at the New York City Shelter. Animal Control Officers reported that Zuko had been
confiscated when his owner was arrested. He was understandably upset when he entered the city shelter, and he was quickly earmarked for euthanasia.
Shelter contacts advocated tirelessly for Zuko, and as soon as he appeared on our radar, he was transferred to our Connecticut Rescue. Zuko has really come into his own here and has become one of our favorites.
Five years old, Zuko is formidable adult Siberian Husky, who has impressed everyone with his good looks and grand presence. We love our Northern Breeds, and Zuko is one of a kind
Anyone interested in sharing their home with a Husky must bring their A game to the table. Zuko needs a savvy handler to maintain his equilibrium. Exercise and discipline, as well as ongoing obedience training should be part of his life, as well as lots of action and human contact. . He is a typical Husky, part jokester and part athlete.
Zuko is not the kind of dog who will be happy relegated to the back yard. He loves attention and adventure. We would describe Zuko as having a bold temperament. He has a vibrant personality that would compliment the vibe of a calm, but assertive individual, who can take command of the leash and provide the leadership and focused obedience training that will give him purpose and pleasure in life.
Zuko has adapted well to foster care and he would do well in the adult home of an experienced Northern Breed enthusiast, who has the time to make him a priority, and has the active lifestyle to keep him engaged.
Zuko has good house manners, and he is housetrained and crate trained, although adopters should expect some accidents as he transitions to a new life. He is in great health, and has been neutered, and fully treated for Heartworm. He has received routine vaccinations and health screenings, If you are interested in Zuko, please call/text Denise at 860-908-9738. Email: Angelsfrgod@aol.com.

To help cover the veterinary expenses of our foster Eskies and to support our rescue effort, Eskies Online will charge you an adoption fee of $350.00. We do not sell dogs. We charge a flat fee--whether the Eskie is a puppy or an older dog; whether it came to us with minimal veterinary needs or requiring major medical care; whether the Eskie makes a short or a long stay in our foster system.
