Merlin will thrive with a large enclosure with plenty of space to roam, lots of hay for munching and cozy spots to relax. Guinea pigs are extremely social creatures and typically benefit significantly from living with another guinea pig friend of the same sex (with slow intros, of course)! He would appreciate a gentle and attentive owner who can provide him with daily interaction and enrichment. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized.
