Lelo is a female Blue Heeler (aka Australian Cattle Dog) looking for a new home after being surrendered to PK. Lelo is 3 years old and currently weighs 59 lbs., though she needs to drop a few pounds. Lelo is friendly and observant; she is clearly a smart girl. She is happiest when she is out of her kennel at the shelter, preferring to be outside just moving around or playing fetch. Given her breed, Lelo needs a home where she receives structure and rules, as well as regular mental and physical stimulation. She likes other dogs and can be cat tested if requested. Lelo is housetrained and knows some basic commands. Lelo has a protective side that will need to be addressed through work with a trainer upon adoption. Therefore, she cannot live with kids.
