Meet Tye
Tye is a young, striking bunny with a beautifully unique coat and an irresistibly sweet personality. He absolutely loves head kisses and gentle pets, and he’s always happy to soak up a little affection from his favorite humans. Tye is doing great with his litter box, but he’s making great progress every day — a natural part of growing up! He’ll be ready to possibly start looking for a lovely bunny wife, and we think he’ll make a wonderful companion. Tye came to us alongside his siblings when their previous shelter, overwhelmed with too many pets, needed urgent help right before a winter storm hit. With his affectionate nature and playful spirit, Tye is sure to bring lots of love and joy to a lucky forever home.

Rabbits are prey animals and it's natural for them to hide. They need an extra-large habitat for room to run around and play. Potential adopters will be asked to provide proof of habitat and other provisions (see below). We ask that you research owning Rabbits and be fully aware of what is involved. They require lots of time and space. Make sure you have no allergies to them or hay that is fed.

Rabbits can be extremely social animals, and require alot if attention. Rabbits live an average of 8 to 12 years, sometimes longer. Please take this time commitment into consideration when looking to adopt a Rabbit.
  • Please fill out a Rabbit Application.

More about this rescue

Northeast Animal Rescue is a local group in Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, dedicated to saving homeless, unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that depends solely on donations which are tax deductible.

Our mission is to focus on having feral (wild) cats spayed and neutered to decrease overpopulation. We are very small and do not have a shelter but our cats and kittens are placed in foster homes. In the process of helping ferals, we come across cats and kittens who are friendly and placeable. These cats and kittens receive medical attention with the help of local veterinarians, and when ready, they are put up for adoption.

We also do some small animal adoptions.
