Jasper is a gentle, sweet-natured dog who thrives in a calm, patient home. The busy shelter environment was overwhelming for him, and he will do best in a quieter setting where he can feel safe. Initially shy with new people, Jasper warms up once he feels secure. He is dog-friendly, preferring calm companions, and is potty trained. A fenced yard or screened lanai is ideal as he’s still learning to go while on a leash. With time and patience, his playful, loving personality will shine.

More about this shelter
Collier County Domestic Animal Services is Collier County's only Open Admission animal shelter, accepting thousands of animals from all over Collier County - including those that are lost, sick, injured, neglected, abused, confiscated, or surrendered by their families.
Collier County does not euthanize healthy, adoptable, animals for space. However, DAS will not allow animals to suffer - physically or mentally - when there is no other reasonable resource available to help.
DAS has a responsibility to keep our community safe, for both people and animals, and will not knowingly adopt out animals that pose a danger to others.
