My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lola came to us as an owner surrender. She has been an indoor only cat all her life, though never spayed until she joined us. She was in danger of being put outside, unspayed and unvetted, because she reacted to a toddler's mishandling of her. Lola is just the dearest girl. Lola must have been really stressed to have lashed out - she is gentle with our foster and very affectionate.

Lola has been spayed, deflead, dewormed, tested negative for FELV/FIV, microchipped and had her annual shots.

An application, landlord approval if renting, safety homecheck, and adoption fee are required. Discount to seniors, military/veterans, with proof of disability or adoption of multiples.

Since she had a bad experience with toddlers, we think she would do best with children over 5 years, who are cat kind. She must be indoor only.

More about this rescue

We rescue animals from high kill shelters or abandoned local strays and foster them until they find an adoptive home. Our southern branch also goes out on emergency rescue calls for cats in drain and sewer pipes, up trees, stuck in walls etc. Transport in available up and down the state of CA. We also TNR local stray and feral populations. The plight of homeless animals moves us deeply. It is unspeakably horrific to see gentle loving animals killed simply because they are homeless. While we cannot save them all, each one saved deserves it. We are a 501c3 registered, CA non-profit corporation.
