Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Collins – A Special Kitten Looking For A Loving Home!
Collins is approximately 1 year old. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
Collins is a special kitten looking for a loving home with an adopter who understands the needs of a visually impaired cat. He was rescued from the euthanasia list and has overcome a lot to get to this point. Collins has had one eye removed and his remaining eye will require monitoring, with the possibility of surgery down the line.
Collins is a velcro kitten who loves to be around people. He follows his humans everywhere, loves being held, and craves attention. When he’s not snuggling, you’ll find him happily batting at crinkle balls. He loves dogs, enjoying snuggling and giving them kisses. While he’s been around other cats and loves to play, he can be a little rough at times.
Due to his limited vision, Collins needs a home with experience caring for visually impaired cats. He tends to bounce into objects and will require careful monitoring to keep him safe. He needs a safe environment where he won’t be at risk of injury from his limited sight. His future eye health will need ongoing attention, and surgery might be necessary down the road.

An application, veterinarian reference, and home check are required for each prospective foster / adopter.
There is an adoption fee of $125 for animals under 1 year of age and $100 for each animal 1 year and older. This fee helps cover the cost of vaccines, spay/neuter, and a microchip. Each animal in our rescue receives medical care from a veterinarian from the day they enter the rescue until the day they are adopted. This adoption fee covers only a small fraction of overall medical costs.
Fixing the Unbroken reserves the right to decline any foster or adoption for any reason.
