Meet Matilda, the original Spice Girl. Bossy, opinionated, funny, brave ... Matilda is a tiny cat with big personality.

Matilda came to TCR as a pregnant stray. She did a fine job of raising her kitten and now it’s her turn to shine. And she relishes the spotlight. When her foster hosted book club, Matilda swaggered in to meet and greet, and shared her opinion of the book.

Matilda has a sassy side: she will tolerate a few strokes before she flicks you a stare to say that’s enough. Respect the glare, as she may swat. She’s not cuddly: she likes to be around her human, but not to be snuggled.

Matilda gets along with her kitty roommates, as long as they recognize that she’s in charge. She tried to bully the dog, and learned a lesson in manners.

Sugar and spice, bossy and nice (when it suits her), Matilda is a diva looking for a stage on which to shine.
