Love Bug is 8 years old, and was born in my yard, along with 2 brothers and a sister. I was able to trap and neuter and spay him, his mother, his sister and a brother. Love Bug has been an outside cat all of his life. I have insulated boxes for the three who remained with me, and have a heater inside of a large shed, where they can stay inside their boxes near the heater, and come and go to the back yard as they like.
I tried to get them into a local no kill shelter when they were still kittens, but everyone was full. The local animal shelter now immediately euthanizes cats and dogs if they are owner surrendered.
Unfortunately, I am a Stage IV metastatic breast cancer patient, and I'm trying to rehome my cats before I get to the point that I can no longer care for them.
Love Bug has been in my house some, as well as in others' houses. He is sociable, loving, and very passive with other cats. I think he would adapt to home life well.
