Meet River!
River is a beautiful, 8-year-old hound who’s pretty much perfect. She’s easygoing, crate trained, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and kids. She’s an absolute joy to have around!
Like a typical hound, she’s a talker, but she’s much quieter than most hounds I’ve met. She absolutely loves attention and will quickly steal your heart with her sweet nature.
River does best with canned food and isn’t too fond of dry kibble with her teeth. She will eat smaller kibble.
The only thing River isn’t a fan of? Baths! But that’s a small price to pay for such a loving and gentle soul.
River will be getting spayed and have a dental cleaning as soon as the vet has an opening. After that, she’ll be ready to find her forever home!

Adoption Application
We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. All dogs must be picked up in person at a public location in Bonifay, FL. We do not ship or transport dogs.
Unless stated otherwise, all dogs require a secure fenced yard to adopt.
All of our dogs will be spayed/neutered, have age-appropriate vaccinations, be wormed, started on flea and heartworm prevention, and be microchipped.
