If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Benjamin was adopted at the Humane Society 6 years ago, when he was about 4 years old. His current owner was looking for a cat quite like herself - quirky, independent, knows how to play, loves to be around people, but most of all, lovable. Benjamin will follow you wherever you go. He wont sit on your lap but will enjoy sitting next to you, or in front of you so he knows he's the center of your attention. He loves being pet and will insist upon it as well. He will make sure to let you know when he's in the room and will announce it with his chirp.
Unfortunately, the new landlord doesn't allow pets and we need to find him a new home as soon as possible. For his new home, he would love the freedom of being able to go outside. As long as he can do that, he is quite low-maintenance. But of course, he loves his daily petting and scratch under the chin! We hope to find him a loving home.
