My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You wouldn't know it, but Hannah's journey has not been an easy one. She was found days away from giving birth at one of California's toughest high-kill shelters, where she and her 10 puppies were immediately placed on the euthanasia list. Luckily Real Good Rescue and their amazing partners came together to save this brave mama. Despite losing seven of her puppies during this tough transition, all three surviving puppies were quickly adopted into loving homes. Now it's her turn!

Hannah Banana is 4-5 years old, 75 pounds, and potentially more cat than dog. After a couple quick walks per day, she can be found asleep around the house, as long as she has line of sight to her family. Her low-key demeanor and independence makes her the perfect working professional's dog.

Hannah loves her crate and is an absolute saint on her leash. She knows all the basic commands, and is much more affection motivated than food motivated: hugs and pets are much more enticing than toys and treats for her. She's great with new people, kids of all ages, and with dogs when properly introduced over time, although she would greatly prefer to be an only pet in the house.

If you or someone you know is looking for a partner to wear matching pajamas and cozy up on the couch, look no further! Let's give this incredible girl the life and love she's been waiting for- please apply today

More about this rescue

Founder, Terah Gisolo is West Texas raised, now rooted in Los Angeles, California and never without a (wo)man’s best friend.
After spending her entire life surrounded by dogs, Terah was introduced to the world of rescue by her sister, more than two decades ago.

Inspired by dogs in need, Terah dedicated years volunteering for numerous rescue groups in Texas, New York, Georgia and California and has personally fostered more than 100 dogs. Her obsession and passion for dogs has only picked up momentum over the years, thus, Real Good was born.

Real Good has been and will always be about the dogs. From responsible and transparent rescue practices, to community support, to the Real Good Shop; all that we do is well, REAL GOOD.
