My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet  Tazz,  Tazz is a 31 pound, 2 year old,  good ole Heinz 57 mix who is ready to find a home.  Tazz is house trained, walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. Tazz's favorite activity is fetch. He would love a failry active forever home where someone will play fetch with him. Ideally he would also have a doggy companion in his forever home.

Background: Tazz came into rescue with a chihuahua friend when the person who found them could no longer keep them. They lived in their finder's home for 5 months and are easy indoor dogs with house manners. Tazz’s chihuahua friend got adopted and now it’s his turn!

Personality:   Tazz is very friendly and has had no issues with anyone he has met.  He has been in a home with young children. Tazz is a friendly dog and we think he would do well with respectful children.  Tazz loves to be held and cuddled  and has rabbit soft fur coats. He adores attention.

Health:   Tazz is neutered, microchipped and current on his vaccinations.

Ideal Home:   Tazz's needs a fairly active forever family.  Because he is so friendly he would be an ideal dog to take on camping or hiking adventures.  He also will always be on the lookout for somone to play fetch with him.

Adoption Fee: Tazz's adopted fee of $350 helps offset the cost of medical expenses as outlined above. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think Tazz could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application*:   helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application .

*Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the foster family for review and follow-up.
