Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ava has been through a lot in her short 3 years. She is quiet but very receptive to pets. She will hide in her cubby at the Millbury PetSmart but she enjoys the head scratches from the volunteers (including the kid volunteers). Other cats don't seem to bother her but some dogs really get her upset as they walk by.
From her foster: Ava is a sweet affectionate kitty who appeared with a cat colony. She was victim to people buying a kitten but as it grows they did not want it and left her outside. Once she finds her new loving humans she will gradually understand what it is to be safe and won't be dumped outside again. She is very food motivated and that will help with bonding. When Ava was taken in she needed dental surgery and had to have many teeth removed. She currently needs canned food while her mouth fully heals. Her meow has the cutest little chirp and that is her way of asking "will you be my friend?" She loves to look out windows to see the outside world, but she has learned the warmth of a soft bed and human affection, and hopes to never return to living on the streets.
