Meet Green Bean Casserole and Cranberry Sauce — a bonded pair of sisters rescued on Thanksgiving Day 2024. These two holiday sweethearts have spent nearly a year in rescue, and they’re more than ready to find a family who’ll give them the quiet, cozy life they’ve been waiting for.
Their start was rough, and they’re naturally cautious around new people. But with patience, kindness, and a few Churu treats (their absolute favorite!), their gentle, loving personalities start to shine. Once they trust you, they enjoy pets and attention. They’re happiest simply sharing space — curled up nearby, purring softly, content just to be close.
They dream of a calm home filled with sunny windows for birdwatching, soft napping spots, and understanding humans who appreciate a quieter kind of companionship. They don’t need constant touch to show affection — their love is in the quiet moments, the slow blinks, and the soft purrs of contentment. Once they are comfortable, they are playful and love chasing each other, playing with toys and will even engage with their humans and a good wand toy.
Green Bean Casserole is thoughtful and observant, often the first to peek around the corner when she hears her foster mom’s voice. She’s playful and sweet once she feels safe and will happily spend her day batting toys and exploring at her own pace.
Cranberry Sauce is her sister’s partner in everything — equally gentle, curious, and food-motivated. The two share a strong bond and can often be found snuggled together after playtime.
They’ve done well with a calm, cat-friendly dog in their foster home and would do best in a household where everyone — including kids — understands how to give shy cats the time and space they need to blossom.
