My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bazooka Joe may have a one-of-a-kind look, but it’s his laid-back charm and sweet personality that really steal the show. He’s a calm, easygoing guy who enjoys long, leisurely walks and taking in all the sights and smells around him. But don’t be fooled—when the moment’s right, he’s got a playful side and loves to let loose!

Joe gets along well with other dogs and tends to be the quiet observer in the group, content to explore and vibe at his own pace. His real passion, though? People. He’s convinced belly rubs are a universal currency, and he’s not shy about collecting his toll—whether you're standing, sitting, or halfway through a Zoom call.

If you're looking for a sweet, soulful companion with just the right amount of spunk, Bazooka Joe might be your perfect match.

From his foster: "Joe is the perfect balance of chill and energetic !! He loves people and licking faces, but also enjoys a nap on the couch and a good movie! He is crate trained and house trained, he hasn’t had an accident since I've had him! He never barks and loves long walks and anything that involves being outside. He is perfect in every way and is just a bundle of joy and love!!"
