Here's what the humans have to say about me:
TUX is available for adoption and is ready for his happily ever after. We rescued Tux from SEAACA, a CA shelter where he was a total staff favorite. We’re sharing his shelter videos in the comments and if you watch, you’ll see why he is such a love. He enjoys meeting new people, is pretty good on a leash, is medium to high energy and has a terrific ‘off switch’, happy to calmly hang out after a good cardio romp or hike. He loves a good game of fetch and willingly brings the ball back again and again. He is crate trained, has worked on leash manners, is house trained, neutered, microchipped and fully up to date on all of his wellness and preventatives.
Tux thrives on human interaction and loves to meet people. He is very and fun and interactive - in the best German Shepherd way. He can be choosy about his dog friends and just wants to give you all of his love. Understandable , since he had been denied the affection he truly craves in his life prior to rescue. Because he is a strong boy, we suggest older, large dog savvy children or an adult home. He excitedly bounds out of his crate at 20 mph- something we are still working on slowing down. He has shown no resource guarding and is a good sharer.
Tux is a strong, 75lb and 5yr old boy who is a sleek, shiny and stunning boy, always ready for adventure-and wearing his best evening wear.
If you would like to meet Handsome Tux or if you think you may be his perfect person or family, please fill out an application. He is a great dog.
