Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Give a warm welcome to That’s Hot, or Hottie for short, a 5.5 month old, 30 pound (as of 10/1) Terrier/Boxer mix who is fun, fearless, friendly, and housebroken! Yup, and that’s just for starters!
Hottie is fabulous with kids, adults, and other dogs. She’s obsessed with toys, she loves to cuddle, and she is eager to please. Responsive to treats, she sits on command and is ready to add more words to her vocabulary. She has been working on her leash skills and is getting better every day. Hottie enjoys getting fresh air and likes to bask in the sunshine.
Hottie is very food motivated, but she doesn’t guard her food, treats or toys. You can move her food dish, take away her toys, or touch her paws, and it’s all okay with her. Outgoing and brave, Hottie travels well and isn’t scared of anything. She actually welcomes adventure and loves meeting new people. Hottie barks only when excited and seems to be a minimal shedder. But watch out for your socks! Hottie will think nothing of running off with your favorite pair of Bombas! ;-)
Full of the joys of life, Hottie is ready to make you smile every day and become a permanent part of your world. She’s one very special puppy!

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 4,500 dogs and cats since 2015.
PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.
Following a thorough screening, our animals are placed in loving, responsible, committed forever homes. PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.
We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.
Founded in 2015, PupStarz Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill, animal rescue organization.
