Meet Wilson – Your Future Snuggle Buddy!
Wilson is a 32-pound bundle of love who came to Midwest BREW from a shelter in Ohio. While his past is a bit of a mystery, one thing is clear — this boy has known the comforts of a home before and is more than ready to be part of a loving forever family.
Wilson has good house manners and knows how to use a doggy door. He is not an alpha dog, he’s happy to let another dog be in charge. He would thrive in a home as the only dog, or he would be happy with a dog friend. In fact, he’s gentle, mellow, and always up for a good cuddle. His favorite spot? Right on your lap!
He rarely barks and his ideal day includes a lazy nap in the sun, a casual stroll around the yard, a calm walk, and lots of love. He's great in the car, calm in his crate, and was a perfect gentleman at the dog spa for his bath & nails.
Because of his size and enthusiasm for people, Wilson would do best in a home with children over 10. He’s super affectionate and doesn’t always realize his own strength. Sudden noises can make him a bit nervous, but he finds comfort in his crate when that happens.
He will require a home where stairs are limited and jumping on and off furniture is avoided to keep him comfortable. He uses dog stairs to get on & off the couch. He still enjoys walks and gentle playtime with the other dogs— just at a pace that keeps him feeling his best.
Wilson is looking for a calm, loving home — maybe with someone who works from home and wants a loyal companion nearby. Whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or a quiet afternoon snuggling on the couch, Wilson is ready to be by your side.
NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
