My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Dana – A Loyal Corgi with a Heart Full of Hope

Age: 4 years (Born in 2021)
Weight: 14.6kg (32 lbs)
Gender: Male (Neutered)
Breed: Welsh Corgi

🧡 Personality & Social Skills
Dana is a gentle, affectionate boy who loves everyone he meets—women, men, and children alike. He’s calm yet playful, and he absolutely adores other dogs, big or small!

🐶 Gets along wonderfully with other dogs
👩‍👩‍👧‍👦 Extremely friendly with people of all ages
🐾 Enjoys both companionship and affection
🐱 Unknown with cats

Dana may bark briefly when he’s excited to go out or play, but it’s simply his way of communicating with his humans.

🏠 Home Life & Habits
🚽 Prefers outdoor potty but also uses indoor pads when needed
🛏️ Crate training not yet started, but very likely to adapt easily
⚡ Moderate energy level – loves playtime but also knows how to rest
🍽️ Has a strong appetite and loves treats
🐕 Walks well on a leash, though he may pull slightly to greet friends
🧍‍♂️ Approaches people and dogs with curiosity and warmth
🚗 Travels well in the car (no motion sickness, though a bit restless)
💥 No destructive behaviors

🏡 Lifestyle & Ideal Home
Dana is apartment-friendly but would love a home with a yard where he can explore and stretch his legs. He’d thrive as a solo dog or in a home with another dog-friendly pup who enjoys companionship.

He is easy to handle, enjoys being touched, and would make a fantastic family companion.

❤️ Rescue Story

Dana once lived with his sister dog, but after their owner left for overseas, they were passed around—eventually ending up in a wire enclosure at a moving center, where Dana stayed for weeks, barely able to move. He injured his nose trying to escape.
A kind rescuer found Dana while visiting the facility and saved him. His sister was adopted quickly, but Dana’s journey continued through more abandonment and time at shelters—he was rehomed, then later found abandoned in a greenhouse, and entered shelters three times.
The rescuer only later discovered his tragic story and searched tirelessly to bring him back to safety.

Now, Dana is ready for a forever family that will never give up on him.
