Hi there, I’m Dozer—a 7-year-old, 71 lb hunk of love with a sweet face and the most expressive eyes. I’m a mellow, polite guy who’s always ready to roll over for belly rubs or lean into you for affection. My calm, relaxed personality makes me the perfect companion to just hang out and enjoy life by your side.
I get along great with other dogs (I live with two foster sisters, ages 4 and 12!) and I’ve even been respectful around a neighborhood cat. I might be a little shy when we first meet, but give me a minute and I’ll be wagging my tail happily at your side.
Some of my favorite things? Leisurely walks, rolling in the grass, snoozing soundly in my crate—and riding in the car! I’m a wonderful travel buddy and love to come along for the ride. I walk beautifully on a leash, and I already know a few commands like sit, wait, and shake—I love learning and making my people proud.
I dream of being your “shadow dog,” following you around and being part of your every day. I’d love a home with a yard or someone who enjoys spending time outdoors. I’m house-trained, crate-trained, dog-friendly, and always up for an adventure.
