Meet adorable, loving, sweet Piper who just wants to be a lap dog, get belly rubs, and give love.
Originally a stray found on the streets of New Orleans with a litter of pups, we think Piper is 5-6 years old. She is up to date on all vaccines thru July 2026.

Piper doesn’t like storms or really loud outside noises. She gets stressed and wants to be on a human lap if a storm comes or someone is hammering outside. She doesn't care about inside noises or loud kids.

Piper is cuddly, sweet, and just needs a regular house where she can feel safe, with a very secure backyard or better yet someone who walks her regularly. She loves walks, loves treats, loves snuggles. She's good with cats and kids. Ok with other dogs short term, but prefers not to live with another dog; she gets possessive and grouchy.

Piper belongs to my elderly mom who has become chronically ill and simply cannot care for her any longer. She'd be perfect in a single dog home with an understanding person and treats.
