Mia and Mocha are adorable and personable sister Abyssinian guinea pigs looking for a loving guardian together.

These three-year-old girls are very interactive, fun and make wonderful wheeking sounds. Their dad moved out of the country and couldn’t bring his little friends with him, so they were relinquished to Friends of Petraits Rescue.

The girls LOVE to be hand fed! They are eating unlimited timothy, orchard and botanical hays, share two cups of fresh salad each day and a ¼ cup of pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they get from fresh pellets, a 1-inch square of red pepper, a vitamin C cookie, or some of their dark leafy greens.

They would love a home with people who will adore them, handle them daily, keep them well-fed, nails trimmed, and keep their habitat nice and clean.

Their adoption fee of $50 as a pair benefits the friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $50, we’ll include a kit of absolutely everything you need to care for them including their cage, pellets, hay, hidey huts, treats, and water bottles.

They are being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
