Jessie is a 6-year-old neutered male Beagle mix who came to the shelter on 1/18/25 as an owner surrender. He’s currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment — but don't let that worry you, because Jessie’s real superpower is his chill personality.
At first, Jessie might look like he’ll drag you down the street… but surprise! He’s actually a slow-moving sweetheart who just wants to be close to his person. Take him on a walk too fast and he’ll let you know — by sitting down and giving you the “we’re not doing that” look. Once you match his pace (think snail speed 🐌), he’s happy to continue.
