My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We’re ready to spill because there’s lots to say about these pretty pussycats!

Meet Melody and Valerie, two bonded sisters who rocked their way into rescue life! Found by a San Antonio resident, these stylish songbirds stole hearts with their look, charms, and purrrfect harmony.

You may have noticed that Valerie sports a slight head tilt due to a neurological impairment, but thanks to her sister Melody’s loving guidance, she’s thriving! These two do everything together, from chasing feather toys to curling up for post-concert naps on soft blankets.

Full of love, rhythm, and resilience, Melody and Valerie are ready to find their forever stage, together! Adopt this dynamic duo and let their sweet song fill your home!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
