My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Ultimate Sister Act: Meet Melody & Valerie!

Valerie and Melody didn’t just enter our program together; they’ve navigated the world as a team from day one. Valerie sports a charming, permanent head tilt due to a neurological impairment, but don’t let that fool you... she doesn’t miss a beat! With Melody acting as her devoted "seeing-eye sister" and constant cheerleader, Valerie is thriving.

While they’ve been the "wallflowers" at many adoption events, these two are actually the life of the party once they feel at home. From synchronized feather-toy hunting to cozy post-play naps, they are a package deal of pure love. They’ve spent their lives in harmony; now, they just need a stage to call their own.

Skip the solo act and adopt this dynamic duo! Help them find the forever home they’ve been dreaming of– Submit your application today!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
