“Alameda is a seriously cuddly dog and would be massaged in a pile of fluffy blankets every second of her life if she could. She’s thriving in the home environment.” – Emily, AFF Staff and Foster
From her first day with us after arriving from NYC ACC, Ally has been a dog who lives life with heart. Whether she’s splashing through water, chasing frisbees, or racing around with her dog friends, she brings energy and joy wherever she goes. Her favorite playmates are Macho and her foster puppy buddy, Artoo, but she’s always happy to make new friends too.
When playtime winds down, Ally loves to burrow under a pile of blankets to keep warm and cozy. She takes her comfort seriously and would happily spend an afternoon snuggled close to the people and dogs she cares for most.
Ally takes a little time to build trust, but once she feels secure, her affection runs deep. She bonds closely with those she loves and has a way of making them feel special in return. From playful adventures to quiet evenings under the blankets, Ally is the kind of dog who brings warmth, joy, and steady companionship to every day.

More about this rescue
Animal Farm Foundation gets to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
Located in Dutchess County NY, AFF has been working nationally to secure equal treatment and opportunity for “pit bull” dogs since 1985.
OUR ORGANIZATION
Animal Farm Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation, has been rescuing and re-homing animals, as well as making grants to other humane organizations, since the mid-1980's.
We currently dedicate our resources to securing equal treatment and opportunity for "pit bull" dogs. Whether the dog is called a "pit bull" because of a documented pedigree, or merely on the basis of physical appearance, recognizing that these dogs are individuals for whom we are responsible is an integral step toward a compassionate future for all dogs.
