My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brandy came to us from NYC ACC and has been lighting up every day since she arrived. She’s the kind of dog who fills a room with joy just by walking into it. Her enthusiasm for life, love for people, and playful nature make her truly one of a kind. Whether she’s chasing after a ball, running around with her dog friends, or leaning in for affection, Brandy is happiest when she’s connecting with those around her.
She’s also incredibly smart and eager to learn. Training is one of her favorite things, especially when food or a game of fetch is involved. Brandy’s quick mind and boundless energy make her a joy to work with, and she’s already showing how much she enjoys learning new things and making her people proud. Brandy is affectionate, clever, and full of life. She’s the perfect mix of heart and brains, ready to bring laughter, learning, and love to every day she shares with you.

Brandy at a Glance:
-Very smart and highly food motivated
-Learning “touch,” “follow me,” “go find it,” “drop it,” “settle,” and loose-leash walking
-Loves working on her training and builds on each session quickly
-Ball obsessed, it’s her favorite reward
-Loves people and enjoys playtime with dog friends

More about this rescue

Animal Farm Foundation gets to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Located in Dutchess County NY, AFF has been working nationally to secure equal treatment and opportunity for “pit bull” dogs since 1985.

OUR ORGANIZATION
Animal Farm Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation, has been rescuing and re-homing animals, as well as making grants to other humane organizations, since the mid-1980's.

We currently dedicate our resources to securing equal treatment and opportunity for "pit bull" dogs. Whether the dog is called a "pit bull" because of a documented pedigree, or merely on the basis of physical appearance, recognizing that these dogs are individuals for whom we are responsible is an integral step toward a compassionate future for all dogs.
