Benson, aka Benny the Cattle Dog mix, is the total package! At approximately 50 pounds and just a year old, Benson still has some wonderful puppy traits but is old enough that he has some training under his belt. Benson is potty trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He does still have some puppy energy and manners. He can get a little mouthy when playing and needs reminded to play nice. Benson learns quickly and wants to please his people. He enjoys getting his energy out by zooming around the yard with other dogs, playing with squeaky toys, and going for walks.
Benson is very loving and enjoys cuddling with his people. He gets along well with everyone including other dogs, cats, and kids of all sizes. Benson would make a great family dog and is eagerly awaiting meeting his forever family!
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.
