Gibby is a handsome, athletic, and affectionate pup with a personality that shines as bright as his smile! This energetic boy is always ready for action—whether it’s a round of tug-of-war (his favorite game!), a brisk walk, or showing off his basic commands. Gibby is polite on leash, curious about his surroundings, and loves checking in with his people, but he’s also what some would call a “rambunctious teen”—full of energy and excitement.

While he can be calm at times, Gibby needs a family ready to continue his training in self-regulation, relaxation, and impulse control. He thrives with structure, enrichment, and positive reinforcement, and he’s highly motivated by praise and treats.

Despite his high energy, Gibby is an A+ cuddlebug who loves being near his people—on the couch, at your desk, or simply hanging out while you go about your day. He has lived with children and can meet other dogs with proper introductions.

Meet the Pet

Visit the shelter during regular business hours. If the pet is listed as "in foster", please contact the foster at the email provided.

2.
Submit Application

If you would like to adopt after meeting the animal, the foster or staff member will give you a link to an online application.

3.
Approve Application

One of our adoptions counselors will contact you to go over the pet’s medical history, personality information, and answer any questions.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Finalize adoption paperwork & pay adoption fee.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Schedule a time to pick up the pet at the shelter.
