Like that other Vincent, our Vinnie has a thoughtful soul. This little charcoal artist came to us from an outdoor cat colony, and he has stars in his eyes for fellow felines. Vinnie lays lovingly near nervous newcomers, offering quiet friendship. Our empathetic boy has even been known to “guard” other cats when a staff member needs to medicate them. Cats are his greatest inspiration.
Yet Vinnie’s life isn’t all golden sunflowers. The journey to become an indoor “artist” is slow going. Vinnie remains frightened around people, and he’ll sometimes paint with a brash brush when we approach, hissing and swatting.
But Tabby’s Place is a gentle gallery, and we have patience for Vinnie’s whole palette. Although Vinnie is quite anxious, he increasingly welcomes brief pets. Like every great work of art, friendship begins as a sketch, and Vinnie will have all the time he needs to see the big picture of love. This means Vinnie will need a big-hearted adopter who won’t rush his process.
We believe Vinnie will find bolder colors and thrive as a beloved pet. But snuggles and lap-time may never be his personal style. The right person will respect his pace and preferences and accept him as the beautiful masterpiece he truly is.

For an adoption fee of $150, you will take home a cat that has received the very best medical care and evaluation. Every cat that leaves Tabby’s Place has been thoroughly examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV, and treated for parasites.
We are currently offering two methods of adoption meetings:
1. Adopters can meet cats in person between 2-5PM daily. Appointments are strongly recommended, but we will make every effort to accommodate walk-ins where possible. Most cats and some select kittens are available for in-person meetings.
2. Adopters can meet cats and kittens via video meeting between 10:00AM-5:00PM daily by appointment only and subject to availability. Kittens in foster homes are only available for video adoption meetings.
