My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Take a tour of our sanctuary and you`ll start your visit in our lobby. Although our friendly greeters (like the paraplegic beauty Olive) may grab your attention first, Marcia waits at the window in her office, peering curiously out at you!

Marcia is a sweet girl who loves to play. Toss a wand toy in her direction and her whole body will immediately perk up. Her wide eyes will intently follow the toys` every move, waiting for the right moment to strike! Marcia will remind you that she`s still a youngster with her vibrant energy and love of playtime!

Marcia is looking for an experienced adopter. Marcia isn`t a bad girl, but she has her moments of feistiness. Our girl can be very particular about how and when she wants to be touched and may say, `No touching.`  Marcia greatly enjoys attention from people, but she can quickly become overstimulated. We recommend an adopter that understands her boundaries.

As far as other felines go, Marcia is a little skeptical. She isn`t a fan of high energy cats who get in her space, but she would do well as a solo cat or in a multi-cat home with more easygoing roommates.

Marcia is looking for a forever home that will love her just as she is. Could that be with you? Consider filling out an adoption application today!

Additional adoption info

For an adoption fee of $150, you will take home a cat that has received the very best medical care and evaluation. Every cat that leaves Tabby’s Place has been thoroughly examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV, and treated for parasites.

We are currently offering two methods of adoption meetings:
1. Adopters can meet cats in person between 2-5PM daily. Appointments are strongly recommended, but we will make every effort to accommodate walk-ins where possible. Most cats and some select kittens are available for in-person meetings.

2. Adopters can meet cats and kittens via video meeting between 10:00AM-5:00PM daily by appointment only and subject to availability. Kittens in foster homes are only available for video adoption meetings.

Get started now by completing our online application. One or our adoption counselors will then contact you within 48 hours.

For questions about adoption, please contact our adoption staff at: adoptions@tabbysplace.org.
