My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Everyone loves Cornbread. Our big, soft, warm Cornbread is no different than the tasty treat eaten along with your favorite chili recipe. All his fellow cats in his suite agree, they can`t get enough Cornbread!

Cornbread and his fellow foodie felines (Chicken Nugget, Taylor Ham, Porkroll, and Hashbrown) all came from the same feral colony. They had lost their food source and it was no longer a safe place to live. Adjusting to the cushy indoor life has been a challenge, but Cornbread has found his place with his feline friends. If you visit his suite, you can often find Cornbread and his best pal Chicken Nugget snuggled together.

Cornbread is looking for a special kind of home. While he may never be a lap cat, his quiet and gentle presence can bring comfort to any fearful feline. Cornbread would love to be adopted into a multi-cat household. This sweet boy would benefit from a quiet home to continue his transition to indoor life.

If you`re interested in bringing some soft and hearty Cornbread into your home, please fill out an adoption application today!

Additional adoption info

For an adoption fee of $150, you will take home a cat that has received the very best medical care and evaluation. Every cat that leaves Tabby’s Place has been thoroughly examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV, and treated for parasites.

We are currently offering two methods of adoption meetings:
1. Adopters can meet cats in person between 2-5PM daily. Appointments are strongly recommended, but we will make every effort to accommodate walk-ins where possible. Most cats and some select kittens are available for in-person meetings.

2. Adopters can meet cats and kittens via video meeting between 10:00AM-5:00PM daily by appointment only and subject to availability. Kittens in foster homes are only available for video adoption meetings.

Get started now by completing our online application. One or our adoption counselors will then contact you within 48 hours.

For questions about adoption, please contact our adoption staff at: adoptions@tabbysplace.org.
