My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Not long ago, in a cat sanctuary very close by… there lived a legendary kitty named Luke!

Luke shares a name with a powerful Jedi, and may or may not also share his strength with the Force. He has the air of a grizzled master, and his serious face suggests a history of adventures. And like his namesake in exile on Ahch-To, Luke is still standoffish and not too interested in taking on an apprentice just yet. This cookies-and-cream boy previously lived in an outdoor colony where he didn`t have much interaction with people. He`s still quite scared of us - but could your visit to his island embolden and inspire him?

Luke will need a patient adopter willing to work with him on his socialization, and who understands that trust takes time. He is very comfortable with other cats from his colony days, though, and would do well as a solo cat or in a home with other FELV+ friends.

Additional adoption info

For an adoption fee of $150, you will take home a cat that has received the very best medical care and evaluation. Every cat that leaves Tabby’s Place has been thoroughly examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV, and treated for parasites.

We are currently offering two methods of adoption meetings:
1. Adopters can meet cats in person between 2-5PM daily. Appointments are strongly recommended, but we will make every effort to accommodate walk-ins where possible. Most cats and some select kittens are available for in-person meetings.

2. Adopters can meet cats and kittens via video meeting between 10:00AM-5:00PM daily by appointment only and subject to availability. Kittens in foster homes are only available for video adoption meetings.

Get started now by completing our online application. One or our adoption counselors will then contact you within 48 hours.

For questions about adoption, please contact our adoption staff at: adoptions@tabbysplace.org.
