My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you're looking for a loving companion, Beatrix is the cat for you! She is sweet and gentle, and always looking for love. She attentively raised her 4 kittens (Flopsie, Mopsie, Cottontail, and Peter), and now that they've been adopted, Beatrix is ready for her own home. Beatrix enjoys chin scratches, feather toys, watching birdies, and laying in the sunshine. She is extremely friendly with children and would be a perfect family pet. Adopt her now!

Medical Note: Beatrix is perfectly healthy but was diagnosed several months ago as having an asthma attack. Placed on steroids, she recovered quickly and is tapering off the steroid medication. Laurel Cats believes in being 100% transparent, thus we are making any potential adopter aware of her one episode.

More about this rescue

Laurel Cats runs a fostering and adoption program through our inhome foster network, partnership with the Laurel Petco, and partnership with Maryland-based Last Chance Animal Rescue, Inc. Friendly cats and young kittens found on our streets are fostered at home by Laurel Cats volunteers and then adopted through our social media marketing, Petco program or Last Chance at PetSmart.
